SCORE MEETING

 

The Standing Committee on Research and Education (SCORE) stresses the need for the students’ involvement within the dental scientific community by offering opportunities for the ones who desire to make a difference. The Meeting shall gather National/Local Scientific Officers and officials from the IADS member countries who will talk on the development policies of the latest IADS educational projects. The progression of International Dental Research Program, “Dental Students’ Research” Journal, IADS Lecture Contest and International Dental Olympics will be discussed, putting an accent on a future new collaboration with FDI World Dental Federation. The Agenda of the Meeting will be available 1 month prior to the Meeting.

 

 

 

PROPHYLAXIS MEETING

 

The IADS Prophylaxis activities are currently having two main directions – “Healthy Teeth in a Healthy World” and the “World Oral Health Day” which is organized together with FDI World Dental Federation. Both projects have the purpose to promote activities which educate the population regarding the importance of oral health. The Prophylaxis Meeting in Istanbul will have the main goal to establish a more extensive collaboration pattern of IADS and FDI for the purpose of the World Oral Health Day 2014, and decide upon a new development policy for the “Healthy Teeth in a Healthy World”. The working meeting is supposed to be joined by national officials and volunteeers from the IADS member countries. The Agenda of the Meeting will be available 1 month prior to the Meeting.
